The intelligent protection platform for Precast Concrete Buildings
1、 Anti-tilt device。The platform guide rail is made of Ø48X3.6 steel tube and 40X80X3.0 square tube, with Ø25 round steel welded in the middle. The anti-tilt device in the guide holder firmly holds the guide rail tube, and the anti-overturning test load can reach 12 tons.
2、Anti-falling device。Each work unit has 2 guide holders, and each guide holder is equipped with an anti-falling device. The anti-falling function can be achieved during lifting and descending. Each anti-falling device features a test load capacity of more than 10 tons. The PC protection platform weighs about 1.3 tons per work unit.
3、Platform height。The height of the PC protection platform is 10.5m, which can provide protection for 3.5 floors. On contrast, the tool-type external scaffolding can only provide protection for 1.5 floors, with a higher risk of untimely installation of edge protection for window openings and balcony positions.
4、Platform width。The width of the PC protection platform (from net to structure) is 1.1m, while the width of the tool-type external scaffolding platform is about 0.6m. Especially in the corner positions, the space of the tool-type external scaffolding platform is small and affected by the aluminum formwork back ribs and screw rods, making it inconvenient or impossible to pass through.
5、Self-lifting, reduced tower crane occupation, less risk of falling objects。The PC protection platform uses an electric hoist for lifting. The lifting speed of the electric hoist is 120mm/min. It takes about 25 minutes to lift one floor (3 meters) theoretically. The tool-type external scaffolding uses a tower crane for lifting, which takes about 6-8 hours to lift one floor.
The use of the PC protection platform reduce the occupation of tower crane, improves the construction efficiency and saves construction period.
6、 Good sealing。The PC protection platform is equipped with horizontal trusses on the structure, and the walkway boards are connected linearly and at corners, with a reasonable load-bearing structure and not easily deformed.
It has three sealed flip boards at different heights and steel plate sealing at the guide rail position for special work unit, which provides good sealing effect.
Limited by the lifting process of the tower crane, the tool-type external scaffolding has multiple gaps, especially at corner positions, and is prone to deformation. There are significant height differences in the walkway boards, making it difficult to carry out sealing work.
7、Tower crane passage。The PC protection platform can be equipped with a tower crane passage that can be lifted together with the platform on the floor to be constructed, saving the time for setting up steel tube passages each time and improving the safety of the tower crane passage. It solves the problem of setting up tower crane passages at the shear wall position.
8、Sufficient protection height。The PC protection platform has a 1.5m protection height on top, and the installation of PC exterior walls, there is still a 1.5m protection height on top of the wall, allowing continuous construction until the completion of concrete pouring for the top beam of the wall column on this level. In contrast, the tool-type external scaffolding needs to wait for layout and the installation of PC exterior walls (about 1 day) before grouting can be completed. Then, it needs to wait for 24 hours (1.5 days) and lift the lower part of the external scaffolding to the upper level (approximately 1 day) to form effective protection. During this process, the height of the exterior walls has exceeded the protection height of the external scaffolding, resulting in a total time of about 3.5 days.
9、Wide applicability。More suitable for protection in low wall corridor positions
More suitable for small courtyards and roof truss。
10、 Economic advantages。Compared to traditional tool-type external scaffolding, the prices of both are basically the same. Considering the time saved in the construction period, the PC protection platform features significant economic advantages.
